Carified should work for everyone. This page explains the standard we aim for, where we fall short today, and how to tell us about a problem.

Our Commitment

We want everyone to be able to buy, sell, and look after a car on Carified.

We want everyone to be able to browse, buy, sell, and keep records for their car on Carified, whatever device, browser, or assistive technology they use. Accessibility is part of how we design and build every page, not an afterthought.

The Standard We Aim For

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA.

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA. In practice, that means you should be able to:

  • use every part of the site with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator;
  • use it with a screen reader, with labelled controls and a clear heading structure;
  • read text with sufficient contrast, in light or dark mode;
  • zoom the page without losing content or functionality;
  • turn off non-essential motion with your device's reduced-motion setting.

The site hasn’t had an independent audit yet, so we fix problems as we find them.

We haven't yet had the whole site independently audited, so there may be problems we don't know about. We're working through the site and fixing issues as we find them.

Videos and photos that sellers upload to their listings come from them, and may not have descriptions.
